Starting in the finance leadership development program (FLDP) as an external reporting analyst at the onset of the pandemic – and having to work 100% virtually – had its challenges. Yet, Erin’s manager made the transition smoother. “My manager took the time to help me feel comfortable and I learned so much within my first year,” Erin recalls.

Erin graduated from the FLDP after three years and is now a senior FP&A analyst at our headquarters in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. She credits nVent’s focus on early careers for providing the platform she needed to achieve her goals. “I think our early careers program at nVent is exceptional,” says Erin. “In addition to the leadership development program, we have employee resource groups, mentorship programs, and an overall supportive culture that helps you to get to where you want to be.”
